Along with the choice of studying Chinese in China, our education center offers a uniquely naturalistic approach to language acquisition. We strive to use our Mandarin training programs as an avenue to channel cultural, economic and social exchanges between China and the world.
We pay more attention on the students practicing Chinese. Breaking away from the class-and-free-time model and the similar class-work-and-free-time model, our institute offers comprehensive language training outside of the classroom to reinforce and drive home the formal lessons we provide. Most class formats are offered in the morning. Afternoon and evening time is devoted to going out and practicing. Rather than assigning homework, our instructors do the work along with you. After a lesson, guests and instructors go out into the public to practice the material, negotiate transportation, visit famous places and receive information in Chinese, bargain while shopping, and learn to identify and speak about unique Chinese foods. In this way, our guests prove their ability step by step, building up to a more complete fluency in the language, without as much postponed anxiety. Learning Mandarin the unique way. We will introduce the structural principles of Chinese characters, offer instruction on the recognition and writing of Chinese characters, and explain the 29 stroke types as well as some 90 characters that contain such strokes. For example,休(xiu1)means to have a rest. The left radical means “people”, the right radical means “wood”. In ancient script 休resembles the shape of a person leaning against a largest tree. After working for a long period of time, especially under a scorching noonday sun, a large tree is truly the best place to take a rest. So, it becomes much easier and funny for you to learn Chinese characters. According to the statistics from Modern Chinese Frequency Dictionary (published in 1986 by Beijing Language and Culture University), about 2,000 characters are in common used. That means that about 2,000 characters are needed in daily communication. You will have special training course to teach your Chinese characters. Our instructors are trained trained by Prof. Zhao Mingde and Prof.Lv bisong. They are professionals, each with experience teaching Chinese to non-natives. The process of learning Chinese is very different depending on the learner. We've found that non-natives demand more explanation of semantic linkages, roots of the icons comprising Chinese characters, and grammar structures. Learning less on the rote, our guests reach a comprehensive understanding sooner than expected. With small classes, we gladly take questions from guests at any time and offer flexible lesson formats while maintaining specific learning objectives.
In addition to the naturalistic method and support of our instructors, we offer surroundings that are conducive to a heartfelt appreciation of Chinese culture and lifestyle. Classes are held at locations such as outdoor teahouses in public parks. Although we do have a stationary set of classrooms and a dedicated office, we are eager to expand the learning experience as much as possible for our guests.
With our small group course, you are assured of high quality tuition, flexibility and value.It is necessary to ensure rapid development in the ability to speak, read, write, and understand the Chinese language. This includes cost-saving classes at a maximum capacity of 8 persons, with no changes in fees due to smaller enrollment. This also includes individual instructors and instructors dedicated to training family groups or delegate parties from international companies.
Guests can use our education center as a place to prepare for Chinese language examinations such as the HSK and university credit-by-exam programs. While our learning environment is more flexible, our guests can fortify their understanding and smoothly pass formal exams without cramming.
