Why travel to China to learn Chinese?
|
While many factors exist, the most compelling and understated one is the low cost of living. A young adult could choose to work full-time in their home country and spend several years in Chinese classes. An older professional could choose to spend most of their time in the office, taking evening classes to practice with coworkers or students. Meanwhile, a person of any age could go through the simple procedures of relocating themselves temporarily to China. Freed from the burden of high living costs, the person could take intensive classes. Given the surroundings, a visitor to China would have abundant opportunities to practice their newfound ability. Most of all, China's door is open to the world. Visitors will find that Chinese people everywhere are overjoyed to talk with them, especially if the visitors are beginning to speak in the Chinese language. Furthermore, China offers a very real basis for an understanding the language and also allows the student to witness in person many amazing places like the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. |
